Some dude from yahoo answers had a cool question. Now, its obvious he hasnt taken my secret quiz, but ignore that, and focus on his question, and how I answer it.

Question: Ok I have been working at my job for a year now and I have always liked this girl but kept my distance because I didn’t want things to get weird. But now I think she is coming on to me (in a nice way. smiling, eye contact, sitting by me if another person is there that she can talk to.) I just don’t know what to think because I have kind of known her for a year and now she is starting to do this. please help. Oh yah she is just a coworker she is not above or below me.

Answer: Well, there’s a ton of ways that girls flirt with a guy. Some of these ways include…

1) Always finding excuses to be near to you. Always finding a way to cross your path or be in your presence. If she’s doing this, you will notice. You will especially notice it because some of these will even seem so weird. She’ll sometimes get so much out of her own way to be in your vicinity or near you, that it will seem weird. Where there are many situations for which the only explanation could be her flirting with you.

2) She looks at your eyes a LOT. In other words, she holds eye-contact much, much more than is appropriate or normal. You can even do a test with this. When you notice she’s holding longer than usual eye-contact, one up her. Keep looking in her eyes even when it feel uncomfortable and see what happens. I mean just keep looking till she looks away, and don’t give up first. You only need to do this test once. If it fails, she will look away all weirded out, which means she was never interested. Don’t repeat the test. If she however one ups you, and keeps not only looking and looking and looking and smiling, she’s probably interested. She’ll eventually break her gaze by looking down with a smile or blush.

3) She makes innuendos and touches you a lot. These are very telling and a lot of girls do these… when they’re interested. But they also do them because they’re friendly. So you’ll have to use your intuition on this one.

I’m giving you this list to have as a list of ways girls flirt with a guy. I don’t recommend you use them at your workplace. In fact, completely forget that girl at your workplace entirely. Go join some social clubs, start some hobbies, get involved in some social venues, so you’ll be able to meet girls where its safe. I mean, if at a social venue, a girl was flirty to get attention and you misread her, no big deal. If a girl misleads you at your workplace, and you take her up on it, you’re screwed. Not worth the risk, so don’t do it!
